The Abakus Trio is probably Australia's newest Celtic music group and hails from Crystal Waters, a small community behind Maleny, on the Sunshine Coast.

Amy (artistic director and flute/whistle) and Bernard (guitar, keys and voice) have many years of experience playing folk music around Australia. Kim (violin, harp and voice), on the other hand, although an accomplished musician, is the baby of the group when it comes to folk style.
