Tony Kishawi, a workshops practitioner, is organising a series of six workshops to develop Street Theatre performances for the upcoming Maleny Arts Alive event in August. 

Participants of all ages and experience levels are invited to join and engage in improvisation theatre games and ensemble work, aiming to create unique Street Theatre spectacles that will promote Maleny Arts during the lead-up in July.

No prior experience is required, as we will work together as a group, exploring various ideas. It's important to understand that we won't be performing conventional theatre on the street. Instead, we will be practicing ‘Street Theatre’, which involves creating captivating and unconventional visual effects using our bodies, masks, and costumes within small performing ensembles that will roam the streets. 

There will be plenty of ideas to choose from, and we are seeking enthusiastic individuals who are interested in exploring the possibilities of performing at the Maleny Arts Alive event.
